Can brine shrimp hatch in freshwater? Posted: 23 Jul 2020 10:21 AM PDT I have a jar starting up but I had no non iodized salt to add so I just left the water fresh. Will the shrimp hatch or will I need to add salt? [link] [comments]

Posted: 22 Jul 2020 12:55 PM PDT Hi everyone, For all the UK followers out there. I want to do a 2 gallon glass bowl for shrimp but I can't find them anywhere online. Does anyone have any links/shops I can buy them from? Thanks! [link] [comments]
What kind of water to put in planted tanks with NO creatures? Posted: 22 Jul 2020 03:49 PM PDT Super new to planted tanks/jarrariums in general, but I love the craft and care that goes into it. I initially got some Marimo moss balls, which has now transformed into tackling this project. I have an open glass vase that's more or less a gallon, and looking to be no tech except for a light. The plants I definitely plan on adding are: frogbit, duckweed, and marimo moss balls. I'm also going to have some more other low light/easy plants that aren't floaters. Since I don't plan on having any creatures (fish, shrimps, etc), what water should I be using? Our tap water is kind of hard (thank you, limestone), but I also don't want to shell out a ton of money. Any ideas/suggestions? [link] [comments]
