Hi, what do I do with this ?

Posted: 14 Oct 2021 10:32 AM PDT

I’ve had a shrimp bubble for 1.5 years with 3 Opae Ula. I do a partial water change every month or two and give them a small amount of shrimp food every month. Anything I can do to make them happier?

Gh/kh test got delivered today

Posted: 14 Oct 2021 07:45 PM PDT

This is a follow up to my post the other night, but still steadily losing one neocaridina per day. My API Gh and Kh test kit showed up, Gh changed color after 5 drops and Kh changed after 4 drops. If I'm reading these correctly, that means my Kh is 4, and Gh is 5. Please help, I still have no clue why these guys are dying!

How to naturally lower pH in tank?

Posted: 14 Oct 2021 09:56 PM PDT

One of my 10g tanks is housing CRS and I've noticed my pH is slightly more basic than what I think CRS prefer. I haven't seen any berried females in a while and I'm trying to find the root of the issue. Anyone have any thoughts?

pH 7.2, could be slightly higher Ammonia 0-.25 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 0 Kh 0-2 Gh 6-7

Would throwing one or two more almond leaves help lower the pH?

I have a 3 gallon tank with 6 blue velvet shrimp? How often and how much should I dose Bacter AE? I have the Shrimp Baby powder too, so when I get babies how much for that too and how often? Thanks :D

I’m making the jump…

…to get a dedicated freshwater shrimp tank. You've all convinced me. I joined this subreddit roughly a year ago and it's by far my favorite in all of Reddit.

I have Amanos in my 55 gallon with my community tank and love them. I use a 1.5 gallon for my quarantine tank and I was going to put some cherries in there, but thought about going bigger (ten gallons?). So I have a question for you all. What is your favorite tank/equipment for shrimp on the market that's isn't made in China?
