Beginner Aquarist here. Is this kit a good purchase for my first tank? Compared to every single other tank and kit I've seen this one is the cheapest by far. Just wondering if anyone on here has purchased this kit and if they like it. Thanks.

1 month on since the last shot, have made a few changes and some new additions, growth has been crazy!

Petsmart Has 55 gallons starter kit aquariums for $75 right now!! There’s other sizes from 5,10,29 and 37. But if you spend $100 you get another $25 taken off your order. It’s a really good deal for 55 gallons. Just thought I would share.

Please help I have no idea what's hanging from my snail! I don't think it's eggs and I'm worried it's some kind of sign of a parasite. More info in the comments.

Is it moral to kill a dying fish?

Posted: 10 Oct 2021 06:49 AM PDT

I have had a fish for almost 7 years now. It has seen me go through all my huge stages in life. But now it is dying. His eyes are muddy, he can't float, he lies on the bottom, gasping it's last breaths. He outlived his life. I got him in 2013, and he has been living with me ever since

I don't want him to suffer, i don't want to look at how he is dying. Do you think it is moral for me to kill it?

The progression of my aquarium over time as i learned to take real care of my fish. He did incur some fin damage due to poor water conditions, but as you can see, i am very on top of it now. It has even gotten a bit better over the last few months.

Cherry shrimp and two endlers. My friend needed to rehome the endlers, is my tank way to small for them, or will they be fine?
