I saw a fly in here about 2.5 weeks into having it closed off airtight. Is there gonna be a fly population or do y’all believe it’ll just die off and never return?

After several weeks of hating every scape decision I've made with this jar, I'm happy to report that it's done for now. It's housing a pair of Betta albimarginata for quarantine/fattening up & some juvenile Cambarellus texanus that volunteered themselves as tribute by refusing to vacate.

Mangrove simplicity. Just scaped it tonight. Not sure how it'll go but it looks good now. No filter. No ferts. Light will be here tomorrow or Friday.

New jarrariums I just made. One with stuff from my backyard. And the other from an irrigation ditch. Hopefully these survive none like half of mine I’ve made��
