What to do with little fish spawning in pond? Posted: 01 Jun 2021 09:16 PM PDT Recently bought a house with a koi pond. I plan to let it dry out and infill with soil. There are no big kois in there but dozens of tiny black fish darting around. I don't want them to suffer as the water evaporates. Will birds just eat them? Right now, my pond is sitting at 8.8+ in alkalinity. Can I add white vinegar in a pinch to reduce the pH or will this be harmful to the fish?
