Sooo my husband and I just moved into a rental house that has a raise little pond. We thought it was a flowerbed in the pictures honestly and the pump is broken so it's totally green water and leaves right now. I was looking out into the yard and saw a koi swimming just below the surface before diving deeper into the gross green water! I felt bad and went out to see if I could scoop out some of the leaves but have yet to see the little guy again. My husband is good with wiring but has little to no experience with pumps. What do Koi fish need? How can we restore our little pond so it can have a nice home? Right now it looks like this
