one of my parents koi has this thing on his back. Is it a wound? A fungus? The koi is doing well and doesn't seem limited

My kujaku lost virtually all his orange over the past month and a half.

Is it the food? I'm using Koi Pro Food. Macros are no less than 35% protein from fishmeal, 4% fat. No more than 4.9% fiber and 8% ash. Along with a long list of vitamins.

Hello, we got our pond up and running for the spring, and I have a new 4-5 in. chagoi that came today. However, it is going to get very cold tonight, and not a lot better tomorrow. Water temp is only 45. I could probably fill up a tote to keep it in for a couple days (it is supposed to warm up this weekend).
