- I made this vivarium yesterday :). I think I’ve found some planeria. If anyone knows the genus of the guy in the second picture or where I can find some info on Missouri freshwater organisms post it here!!

Posted: 01 Mar 2021 12:41 PM PST I live near a saltwater inlet. After climbing down the slope to toss rocks into the water and poke around with my toddler, I found a couple tiny crabs and hundreds of very small sea snails in the rocks near the waters edge. I'm curious if anyone has tried keeping sea snails in a Jarrarium? Is this something I could humanely do? I definitely don't want to harm the snails, and I'm not sure how I could maintain salinity with water changes. I've never had a salt water tank or anything like that. Does anyone have any experience making a saltwater jar? Any input and suggestions will be appreciated! [link] [comments] | ||
