Micro Aquatics First Nano Tank |
| Posted: 03 Nov 2020 12:19 PM PST I've been tasked with setting up an aquarium for my girlfriend. No larger than a 20 gallon, bigger than a 10 gallon. She wants some driftwood and live plants. I'd like to get some more experience with live plants as well, with a CO2 system. She also wants shrimp and fish, maybe a snail. Species are up to me, and am looking at some Black Tiger Badis, and Celestial Pearl Danio. I'm not sure on which shrimp varieties would work well for them however. We'd probably go with a nerite snail, if any at all. My major questions are which equipment works best for both these fish and shrimp? I do not like sponge filters, bubbling tanks drive me crazy. Will an all in one system work well for this? I've seen them but just don't know them well enough to make any decision one way or another. Lastly, stocking. How much fish would work in one of these tanks? I've done larger tanks and never had any stocking issues. But this is my first truly planted tank, so I'm not entirely sure. Basically, I'm starting from a point of zero experience here and needing some advice. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
