Feeding new coral

Posted: 17 Oct 2020 01:25 PM PDT

I’m pretty sure I have an abnormally large coral banded shrimp they say they get up to four inches but mine is at least 5 or 6 ( it’s kinda hard to tell in the pick)

A genuine question

Posted: 17 Oct 2020 11:39 PM PDT

I have my tank inside of my bedroom with no lid with a bar light and for some odd reason my room is way hotter than the rest of the house! I have a ceiling fan running for 75% of the day and a tall fan that runs during the night and occasionally during the day, would you guys know if anyway to cool down my room of the house? Just to mention that I own a PC and PS4 in the same room that run occasionally throughout the week but run for hours.

Ich coral banded shrimp

Posted: 17 Oct 2020 11:06 PM PDT

I have a qt going since I got ich ( I have a fairly new tank) and I have 2 inverts in the main display a long spine urchin and a coralbanded shrimp I am worried that my shrimp won't have any thing to eat and I'm scared that if I put mysis in there the ich will eat that and survive should I get sinking pellets or would ich eat that

Just picked this Anemone up at Petco for $14.99. Any reason they’re priced so low? I’ve only owned bubble tips in the past. Also bought a plate anemone for $45.

Help! Salt water got sprayed into my outlet!

Posted: 17 Oct 2020 06:43 PM PDT

While filling my sump, I had the hose clamped but it slipped and sprayed directly into my outlet, causing a breaker trip. It is gfi (?) and the break has a test button.

I went ahead and turned breaker off, took plate off, and aimed hair dryer at it. Seems to not be very wet, but the stuff plugged in are a bit. Ive wipes those down

What's the next step? I'm thinking of just not using that outlet and running extension corn from another outlet. I have renters insurance but not sure it warrants an electrician.

How can I prevent this in the future? Obviously will be filling from top...
