• Gave my bowl a trim today. Still needs a little work after being neglected for a while.
• Two months old! Sadly, I will be rescsping this tank and hope for the best!
• Converted my HOB into a bio sponge filter as seen on reddit. I was advised to replace the carbon filter. This way my fertilizer isn’t absorbed by the carbon and my plants actually benefit from fertilizing.

• I brought my idea to life this morning. Pretty satisfying for my first attempt.
• This doesn’t look right does it? I bought these non-refundable hardscape materials and it’s all I’ve got. I had them perfectly arranged, then realised I had the tank turned wrong way around. Really struggling to get something that flows this. It’s been 6 hrs, this is the best I can do. Any tips?
• Need suggestions/ideas on hardscape for my 20 gallon long.
• Recommendations for small dark green/brownish crypts or crypt like plants, that would fit in a low tech nano tank?
• My favorites.
• Walstad day 33 (5gal). Surface scum has disappeared. Water has been testing good and thinking about adding fish soon. Suggestions? I already have 6 ghost shrimp. Added them a week ago and they’ve been great. The water lately has gotten cloudy though...
• Water sprite started growing emersed, but the edges of the leaves are turning brown. Does anyone know why?
• What the heck is this, noticed it in my tank and can’t figure out how it got there or what the heck it is

Best light(s) for 29 planted? Posted: 05 Sep 2020 10:04 PM PDT The usual info - I keep a 20gal "planted", but I want to do better with the 29 I pulled out of a sump experiment. 30 across the top ofc, but seriously...what are the BEST 30" lights these days for freshie?
