- Update on my 2 gallon pico nightstand tank with SPS and dendro (Hanna checker for scale)

- I did a thing
- Everyone was looking really good
- My first saltwater tank! Still have a lot to learn from the hobby! Hopefully my clownfish host the anemone soon
- Tomorrow's after work pick up! In no particular order: Solar Flare, Acid Trip, Vivid's Confetti, PC Rainbow and PC Superman Tabling Acro.

- It does what it wants.
- The Kracken came out for a pic!
- Gotta love duncans.
- Help identifying sex! Spotted mandarin. Thinking of adding another one (striped mandarin) of opposite sex, would that be okay or would they be aggressive to each other?
- Walt Disney I picked up tonight along with a Diablo Millie. More hotness coming tomorrow
- Does my tank get to much natural light? Just set it up. Noobie here
- The great Black Out of 2020 has finally ended, and hopefully my little reef can recover.

- Black background or blue background?
- Think my Utter Chaos likes my new lights? left plug was grown under a single Kessil A360, Right plug was grown under 2 Radion XR15's
- Now 8 months old and everything seems pretty happy overall.
- starting out a 3 gallon picotank - just snails and caulerpa prolifera so far

The great Black Out of 2020 has finally ended, and hopefully my little reef can recover. Posted: 09 Aug 2020 10:43 PM PDT Due to recent hurricane Isaias, my home lost power for 5 days. I have a 13.5 gallon reef that I started up in March, and this is the first big issue I've had with it. I lost 2 trochus snails that I've had since the beginning and a rock flower anemone that I added maybe a week ago. I have a bright green mushroom that was my first coral that now looks like it has 3 holes in it so I don't know if that one will make it. My fish seem to be doing alright, although they didn't eat tonight after the power came back on, I'm hoping that they'll settle back in soon. My Duncan and hammer seem to be doing alright, and hopefully my zoas will open back up soon. My first reef scare and I'm just glad it didn't end in a complete system crash. Hopefully the tank will settle back to normal soon. [link] [comments] | ||
