Question for SPS owners (Strictly out of curiousity!) Posted: 12 Aug 2020 10:01 PM PDT Hopefully I don't get downvoted to hell lmao, because I am not at all hating, and all tanks and preferences are all acceptable, so this comes only from a place or curiosity. What, for you, is the appeal of SPS corals? To me, they're easily the most "plain" type of corals, and that piled on top of the fact that they are also the hardest to keep and the most fragile, has me in the mindset that I will probably never own them. Granted, I am new to the hobby, but if it were reversed and LPS & softies were the hardest, I would definitely work up to them and feel that it was worth it, due to the vibrancy of both families. So for the SPS owners, what draws you to them? Are they visually your legitimate favorite kind of corals? Is it the feeling of accomplishment/prestige that comes along with keeping them because of their requirements? Mix of both? [link] [comments] | ||
