- Day One of my first jarrarium, waiting for everything to settle. I can see tiny dots swimming around. Anyone know what these are?
- I love this new one I made, anyway to make the moss look more grounded on the rocks?
- Moving everything to a larger tank

Moving everything to a larger tank Posted: 23 Aug 2020 11:20 AM PDT My planted 1gal is getting really crowded. I have a 5gal rimless cube I wanna transfer everything over to. There's java fern, anubas nana, and dwarf hair grass. I'm worried about moving the java fern. It has a good network of roots going on. If I pull it out and replant it in the same new substrate, could it shock or kill it? What about root trimming? It'll make replanting a lot easier at least. Some roots are growing exposed. There's only Fluval stratum in it now. I plan on using soil and root tabs with new stratum on top in the new tank. CO2 will still be used along with my ferts, light and normal water changes.
