- This is my betta boy. I've had him since yesterday and he already seems really comfortable. When he was done acclimating he went exploring instead of hiding. I think he's a juvenile and delta but his tail may change as he gets older. Any advice? Name suggestions? More info in comments.

Posted: 08 Aug 2020 11:26 AM PDT I don't know a ton about bettas. Before I found this sub, I pretty much wrote off every having one, since I'm more into larger community tanks, and thought all bettas are just loners. So I see now that they can do fine with other fish under the right circumstances. I'm wondering if my tank would fit the bill. It's a 90 gallon freshwater planted. The list of critters in there is: Amanos and cherry shrimp 7-8 Glass catfish A half dozen or so platys 4 nerites Panda, peppered, and albino corys Would I be able to add a betta to this mix? If yes, would a make or female be better? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
