- Best cameras or microscopes for viewing jarrariums?
- These guys randomly popped up in one of my jars after adding rainwater. I’ve been collecting water & plant samples from all across florida for years, but these are some of the cutest & funkiest little critters i’ve had (-:
- First jar, a month old. Backyard plants and springtails
- Thought this could be of use here

Best cameras or microscopes for viewing jarrariums? Posted: 14 Jul 2020 07:35 AM PDT Hi, I've recently gotten into the jarrarium hobby. I've managed to get one going with some pond water and have some very interesting little critters in there (including a hydra, which I'm particularly fascinated by). What I want to ask is if anyone knows of any good cameras or devices that can be used for taking photographs of the animals and plants in the jarrarium? It's not the largest glass jar I'm using (I'm unsure of the capacity) but I'm interested to know because I want to get a better look at what is living in it, as it mostly seems to be small crustaceans and worm-like animals. Thanks! [link] [comments] | ||
