snails randomly dying?

Posted: 19 Jul 2020 08:23 PM PDT

I have a small 5-gallon breeding tank for my bladder snails and they've been doing fantastic, however, I've been noticing fewer adults. Just today I realized that there are a ton of empty shells on the bottom however I can't figure out what's killing them. any help would be great!

Tank parameters: ammonia- 0 nitrite- 0 and nitrate- 20

Do any of you have experience Pomacea maculata? I have a planted tank and worry that they would eat the plants.

Can someone tell me what species this baby snail belongs to? I got it with some plants and it's only a few millimeters long

Will ramshorn snails be okay in completely still water?

Posted: 19 Jul 2020 04:18 AM PDT

I'm adding salt and paraguard to an aquarium with snails so I have to move them. I don't have any extra equipment so I'm moving the few snails I have to a 5 gallon tub. I lost my extra filter. I heard ramshorns breath by carrying air in their shells though so would they be fine or do I need to add an air pump?
