Coral that GSP won't kill?

Posted: 13 May 2020 07:33 PM PDT

So I had a pretty diverse reef years ago. Got lazy about two years ago and let everything just take it's course while debating tearing down the tank. In that time, GSP took over every rock for the most part and killed everything else.

Spent a long time doing nothing other than the bare minimum water change and cleaning. Not even sure how the tank lasted through that. During that time, GSP took over and killed everything, then algae and that took over the GSP and it still covers everything, but the polyps are just coming back.

Back into the tank big time recently. Full new CUC arriving Friday, new lights sometime next week, massive water changes over the last couple of months, hours spent manually removing algae and detritus; and it's finally looking good. New CUC and new lights will also help. I see the GSP coming back to life.

Long backstory, but my question is: any corals that won't get decimated by GSP that I could add? Shy of nuking the rock and starting fresh, what are my options?

Only reason I don't want to just start fresh and boil the rock is I have a pair of 8 year old clownfish and a Royal Gramma and Yellow Goby both close to 4 years I don't want to risk losing.

Any help is appreciated for someone trying to re enter having a great reef tank.
