- LF purples and jades, someone please help
- Made a incubator tank for my snail clutches. Hope they love it!
- What a wonderful place to lay eggs, on my lid... How can I save them? I’d like to move them to a different tank/give away some when they hatch
- What kind of snail is this??
- What is the little guy in the front? I only have rabbit snails, nerites, Japanese trapdoor snails, and mystery snails in the tank.
- I don’t know where else to turn
- My snail has been floating for 3 days, this is the most it’s opened up but what’s that white thing coming out of it? Anyone knows?
- Hey I have been wondering what vegetables would be best to feed my mystery snail.
- What is this strange thick discharge from the snails? I haven’t seen it before, water Parameters are ideal. I was worried and did a few 20% water changes every other day.
- Ate trumpet snails bad?

| I don’t know where else to turn Posted: 12 May 2020 07:53 PM PDT I've noticed that my snails are dying. I have ramshorn snails, pond snails, and bladder snails in a tank together. All were hitchhikers on plants and I just decided to let them stay. Then I fell in love with them so they're the only thing in the tank. I've noticed that they're dying. I've checked my parameters and the only thing out of the ordinary is that I've got a 8 ph (which it used to not be?) and I've got some nitrates but not enough to be killing snails. We all know how hardy these guys are. The shells aren't all that bad at all. The only ones that have the weird white lines are the ones that came to begin with and they're still thriving. No snails are trying to escape at the top of the water or anything. But my tank has a littering or baby snails (about the half the size of an eraser at largest) on the bottom. Not a ton but enough to be alarming and they're just the empty like white shells. I was like 'okay I guess they just weren't adjusted' or something idk. But then I see two snails today that died. Larger ones too, ramshorn snails, about the size of my thumb print. They've still got their bodies like in the shell unlike the other small ones but they haven't moved in days so I assume they're dead. What could be causing this? I don't have any other livestock in there that could be eating them. I do dose with fertilizer but it's easy green and I've never had any problems with it in the past with snails up until now.
