- Want to use these to construct a waterfall in the pond im building for my goldies . Made of cast iron and is the old guttering from my house. As you can see they are a bit rusted etc what treatment would these need before they can be used in a pond? Any help would be much appreciated
- I made a mistake and didn’t quarantine some fish before adding them to my 300 gallon pond and now it looks like they all have bacterial infections along with fin rot, Whats the best medication for me to use in this situation?
- How to achieve best water quality for fancy goldfish? If i use this do i need to reduce Ph Kh nitrat levels or this is going to do the job? Also do i have to add bactro and aqua care after every water change. This is going to be my first gold fish tank and water care is really different.

| Posted: 21 May 2020 06:51 PM PDT Some of you may remember me but likely not. I have posted around her before and got the usual, single fins belong in 100+ gallon tanks. My daughter won a carnival Comet 3 years ago last February. I have not posted questions hear out of fear of crucifixion about my 50 gallon tank. So I will anyway. In November or December my daughter's Comet, Dory started turning white..in the last few months, she is almost completely white and blooated like it is a swim bladder issue. Out of all the research I have done, I have no idea what could be wrong but i fear it may be due to stunting or tumor. I doubt it is constipation as I only feed every few days..I have tried peas for a week a few times. I have not treated with anything because I don't know what to treat for. She is still eating like normal, but tonight (twice) I have found her in the plants upside down..I have flipped her back over and she swims off. Does anyone have a clue? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 21 May 2020 02:59 PM PDT Hey all, I'm moving into an apartment with new flooring. Its a floating vinyl over concrete, in the basement. The previous floor was stone tile over concrete, aka totally could hold a heavy tank just fine. I'm trying to design a tank stand that'll distribute the weight effectively enough, that the landlord will allow my tank. Goal is to leave the floor unharmed. (water wasn't an issue, i'm moving in 6 other smaller tanks and have renters insurance for catastrophes) 75 gallon tank, and assuming 1200 pounds (water. substrate, equip, and extra for good measure) Any Advice or experience? Is there another subreddit to cross post to? [link] [comments] | ||
