My first closed terrarium is looking vivid just a few weeks in! Does anyone know what type of moss the stringy pale one is?

Scientific books on closed ecosystems

Hi does anybody know any good books on how to build closed (paludarium) ecosystems? I prefer scientific approaches and extensive guides. I know there's a lot of information online, but I can't read on screens for very long.

I can find books on paludaria but theyre usually not closed systems.

Thanks!

Reused some small jars for mini jarrariums from a local creek. Thought I had only collected sand, pebbles, plants, and creek water, but turns out I also have some clams (in both!) and a friendly gastropod of some sort with lots of yellow baby ‘pods? Lots of life where you least expect it
