Help please :( I did a 40% water change a few hours ago, and now a couple of my fish have these clear bumps on their gills!

My Blackmoor has a white patch and lethargic. He lives with a comet in a 75L tank which is fine. Is it a fungal disease?

Where to get nice slim bodied goldfish

Posted: 29 Apr 2020 11:37 PM PDT

Hi y'all! So I'm finding it hard to locate quality shubunkin, sarasa or other slim goldfish. Is there a place you'd recommend that sells online? Thanks in advance!

I may have lost my mind....

Posted: 29 Apr 2020 12:10 PM PDT

.... But I ordered a half a pound of java moss and stuff to use it to build a moss wall in my goldies' tank. In a couple months it's either going to look amazing, or it will prove to be a very expensive snack buffet for the goldies. Either way, they're going to enjoy it, and i guess that's what counts, right?

Would a Ziss Bubble Bio Filter work well for fancy goldfish??

I've seen these floating around and they look very intriguing, but I am wondering if it has enough mechanical filtration to handle fancy goldfish.

What to do with leftover gravel?

Posted: 29 Apr 2020 08:12 AM PDT

I've thought about replacing the gravel in my goldfish tank with black sand, but the question is, what do I do with the leftover gravel? I've heard about people using it as cat litter but it seems kind of a waste.

Second time in 2 months my fish has had a fungal infection. What am I doing wrong?

Posted: 29 Apr 2020 10:56 AM PDT

I noticed my goldfish had a fungal infection in early March, so I moved him to a hospital tank for 7 days, treating the water and adding freshwater salt, and it eventually cleared up. I kept him there for another couple days just to be sure and moved him into his regular tank with all fresh water and everything scrubbed clean. However I noticed today that he has it again, and I'm wondering if I'm not cleaning the tank enough or using bad water (I get it from my friend's house as mine has really hard water and I thought that would be bad for my fish, before I used store bought spring water), though I do a 50%water change every 2 to 3 weeks. I also never noticed this problem until I started using the city water rather than bottled, but I'm not sure if that could be a factor.

Also, what can I do to prevent this in the future?
