My crayfish is acting strange please help!

I've had my electric blue crayfish for almost a year now and he's always been very active and has always had successful molts. I see that he has swimmerets so I am assuming he's male but I could be wrong. Recently he's been acting very strange, he hides all day and doesn't even come out for food anymore. He has pushed all of his rocks out of his hide and keeps his tail tucked under him. What does this mean? He's my first crayfish and I've done a lot of research to give him the best life possible but I fear that I've done something wrong. Thank you for any advice anyone can offer, I love him very much and want to make sure he's comfortable!

My Australian Red Claw has been hiding behind the rocks for about 1 week and isn't even eating. Why? - Last moult was about 2 months ago and he is over a year old now (About 6 inches)
