low budget help

I have 2 crayfish, and i dont know what to do with them. im currently keepeng each one seperatly in a plastic cake cover. i have no money to spare for them... is there any household items good for crayfish? (hides, tanks, food)

also, i need help with diet, couldnt find anything online cos people eat them, not keep them. does dog food work? please help!

i have no oxydizer, so i have to keep the water shallow so they dont drown.... what if they dry out?

ps. i have grown rather attached to them, and its eather this or death because i dont kno what species it is, and i dont want to get invasive species around
