- My German blue ram
- Little puffs tank. DIY background

- The most common sunshine pleco
- EPIC BATTLE: Kuhli loach vs albino bristlenose pleco (sorry for potato)
- Is this a sufficient stand? 37 gallon (34 per aqadvisor), the stand is real wood and feels sturdy, but I'm a beginner and don't want to make a mistake that ends with all that water on my floor
- Hi guys! Can anyone sex this little girl/guy - sadly I lost one and want to know who to replace when the time comes :)
- First good picture I could get of him! Meet Mercury

Anyone old enough to remember when pleco was spelled pl*co online? Posted: 30 Apr 2020 06:42 AM PDT Long before there was the web, there was Usenet. Usenet was a collection of public message boards on the Internet that were text based and used the nntp protocol. The rec.aquaria newsgroup and all its subgroups was AMAZING back in the 90s. Most newsgroups collected and edited its discussions into a FAQ and would post it once a month and have it archived on a FTP server somewhere. The rec.aquaria.* FAQ was a wealth of great fishkeeping knowledge and can still be found here: From the FAQ:
