Led recommendations

Posted: 03 Mar 2020 06:11 PM PST

I am a semi- experienced reefer (freshwater for years, reef tank for a year) looking to do a diy 10-15 gallon build. I'm looking for thoughts on the NICREW lights as far as corals go- obviously not enough to do spf or any high lighting corals- but would these be enough light for some soft or easy corals, zoas, etc? Also, what would you guys recommend for a cheap led light that comes in a bar form? ( my tank is going to be long and narrow, so strips or bar lights will be best) I'm willing to diy the light strip as well but I can't do wiring or anything. What cheap led lights have you guys used that can grow or maintain some easier corals????

Help w/ Royal Gramma Basslet

Posted: 03 Mar 2020 05:38 PM PST

Hey everyone, any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I've had a reef tank set up for about 2 months or so now. My royal Gramma has been acting very shy recently and today he hasn't moved all day. He's just been sitting on the coral bed tucked up against a rock. He hasn't done this at all until this week. I can't do anything to stimulate him or get him to move. I'm concerned he's sick or somethings wrong. His color and everything about him looks normal. My damsel is acting just fine and I did a 20% water change this weekend and my parameters are good. Let me know if you have anything to input on the matter. Thanks

Last week I added this green bubble tip anemone and anemone crab! Love watching the crab filter feed.
