My tank had a lord of the flies moment and group murdered one of the fish Posted: 11 Feb 2020 10:04 PM PST So basically i out of now where saturday night most all of the other fish started to attack my Melanurus wrasse, who is is the oldest and largest fish. Current stock list: Solerensis wrasse Ruby headed wrasse Bi color blenny RoyaL Gramma Blue green chromis 2 clows There is also CUC tiger conch sand sifting star nass snails and trouchus snails. hermits peppermint shrimp. THe chromis went after him and then like everyone else joing in until i could finally catch him and out him itto a sand filled tankliate, He had some damage but nothing i havent seen fish recover from. I have a theory it may have been the extreme drop in pod population due to me throwing such a large ball of chaeto. It may have been the very minimum amount of carbon dosing ive done or decline of my phos. he chilled in the box for awheil and i went back and noticed the labored breathing and he died not long after that. Im thinking as well that my tank might be to small for the amounf of fish i have. has anyone had an experience like this [link] [comments] | ||
