Jarrariums - GF’s first attempt at a terrarium! |
- GF’s first attempt at a terrarium!
- My very first jararrium! Made from dollar store sand, rocks and jar. The white rocks are Seachem Matrix and I hope to use it as a vacation spot for my mossballs to green back up from my tropical tanks :)
- Found an isopod catching some sun in my terrarium
- Update! Water is cleared. Added water and plants! Found a small snail already. needed to change the aquascape a tad, but still looks great!
- Would this dog food mat work (silicone) as a pressure relief pad for my bowl?
- First Jarrarium! Using Walstad method. It’s maybe a half gallon. Going to do java fern, duckweed, a Marimo and MTS. Wish me luck!!!
- Bulleit Burrbon bottle making the perfect home for propping - can’t wait to see how much they grow!
- Plants growing in a bottle. Found while hiking an offshoot of Lake Minnewaska Preserve, NY. It’s been between 10 and 30 degrees here this winter. Love to have found this. I left it alone so I can come visit it in a couple months. I don’t know the plant(s)
- Part of my new setup
- Me and my boyfriend made our own little jarrariums for the first time today !! (^:
