Aquatic Koi New pond!

Help! I just moved into a new house and it came with a pond. It hasn't been used in 4 years. No koi. I drained it, took all the rocks out, cleaned the sludge and plants all out. Now I need to refill. Any tips or suggestion? I'm not adding fish until it warms up.
