- When you disturb the tank that just has one giant GSP colony...
- LFS had a good deal on this guy today
- Starting 2020 watching things grow !
- My pride jewel
- Feeding time for slippy the ribbon eel
- My Waterbox 100.3 Reef
- Found this pic from my old 150 gallon peninsula. This tank was a lot of fun to watch grow and was my last reef in Atlanta before moving to the midwest. That sailfin was a beast/murderer and i learned an important lesson about putting too big of fish in too small a tank. Hope you enjoy!
- And the cycle begins......
- 9 months into our first reef tank! (16 gal biocube)
- Just joined the fam
- Top Down Tuesday - Philomena’s Flower Garden
- I started a Nano :)
- Finally built a proper stand for the 40 breeder! She's one year old today so I figured I'd treat the tank to something nice.
- Picked up a few new frags for my birthday last night to go in my 32g Biocube
- Finally got my live rock in.
- My first corals
- Caught two more... one really big one to go...
- How much of an oversized skimmer is okay?
- Adding 2nd stand for water change system and refugium. I love this hobby.
- First corals in the 2.5 pico.
- Will my acropora recover?
- Unhappy sunny d

How much of an oversized skimmer is okay? Posted: 07 Jan 2020 08:25 PM PST I have a 20 gallon tank with neon dottyback and a pair or clowns. I'm looking for a skimmer, and at HOBs rated for around 65 gallons like this one - AquaMaxx HOB-1.5 Hang-On-Back Protein Skimmer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078NJXBGJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5uvfEbSKZ1N07 Is this okay for my tank? I'd like to add a fourth fish if possible but I'm not sure if I can keep reef quality water with this many fish. [link] [comments] | ||

Best books and resources to learn about coral? Posted: 07 Jan 2020 02:33 PM PST I work at a pet store and I feel so dumb when a customer asks for help with the coral and I have to run get a coworker who knows more. This sub as well as some fishkeepers on YouTube are very helpful but I want something that I can use without WiFi. Like a book I can read on the train or maybe a pdf I can print out?
