Planted Aquarium - Good morning!

Good morning!
Low tech tank 6 month progress
It’s a little chaotic but it’s mine
i got super depressed and let my tank fill up with algae and killed some plants, but NEW YEAR NEW ME i’m gonna try my hardest to keep it nice and clean for my betta. i’ve got a few plants coming in the mail as a “sorry for being a bad fish mom” gift. (and look! she found an unintentional cave!)
About 8 months in and many adjustments
Birthday coming up ..
A constant work in progress, but here it is after a trim! Working on getting a Dutch style scape. Recommendations welcome!

6 week update. Carpet is still patchy, and algae has been a pain. But it’s getting there
I made a “moss ball” out of the algae on a rock next to a marimo!

Been out of the hobby for a few months following moving. Getting back into it with a freshly planted 6 gal stem tank ��.. Happy new year!

My 10 g Walstad tank...nothing special but it has a crayfish in it (poking his head out of the wood), which is an extra challenge!
Just starting to see a little growth. Day 3.
For the hell of it I bought some of the carpeting seeds off Amazon. I am going to give them a few more days, then I am going to transfer to my tank and see what happens.

Mods please ban or remove content promoting carpet seeds

In almost every carpet seed post, good advice is given and subsuquently ignored. Usually someone ends up asking where to purchase the seeds prompting OP to post a sales link which further promotes the sale of these scam product.

I would like to propose a new rule that disallow any sales links for the carpet seeds. Or even taking it one step further and disallowing tank shots with that contain the carpet seeds.

Would love to hear other's thoughts as well
