Posted: 20 Sep 2019 09:02 AM PDT My axolotl Chibs is getting bigger and I want to get him in a bigger tank. He's in a 10 which is getting small for him. I have a 20 gallon high that I have a community tank in currently. (I was considering doing a tank switch) as the two fish that actually needed a 20 gallon have passed over the last year. Would it be worth the trouble to switch everyone around? I'm not sure it would be worth putting him in a 20 gallon high though as he does like to surface a lot and bite air then do his floating acrobatics. (Though I've also considered getting something for him to lounge on mid level if possible) [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 19 Sep 2019 07:20 PM PDT I got my 2 axolotls in July and I think they were three months old then, which would put them about 5 months now. Just today I notice lumps on both of them that from my previous skimming of this community leads me to believe that their testicles have descended. Of course they could always be harboring a big poo. I'm just wondering if it's too early to tell? When have you guys been able to sex your axies? [link] [comments] |
