- I have 2 new mystery babies and they seem extremely sluggish.. I got them a week ago and they were very active for the first 2 days, but now they are the complete opposite.. When I touch them they go back in, but slowly (even for a snail) Perameters and details in comments.

Posted: 28 Sep 2019 09:22 PM PDT I recently became a new mother of 7 mystery snails. I have so many questions!
Sorry about all the questions but I'm new at this and I feel like if I google these the wrong stuff will come up and I would like to get answers from long time snail owners or people who know a lot about them so I can make sure I'm getting the right info. [link] [comments]

Why do my bettas only attack my blue mystery snail? Posted: 28 Sep 2019 04:19 PM PDT So recently my sister and I got two mystery snails to put in our ten gallon with a male betta fish. One was blue and the other was black. While the male betta fish completely ignored the black mystery snail, he immediately attacked the blue one. He did so multiple times and even took off a part of something (could've been shell I'm not sure) and continued to try to eat him. We tried to move him in with our female betta in a 5.5 gallon tank but she attacked him too, although, to a lesser extent. Does anyone have any idea as to why they would attack the blue mystery snail and not the black one? [link] [comments]

Mistook orange rabbit snails for malaysian trumpet snails Posted: 28 Sep 2019 07:19 AM PDT Hey guys, as per the title, I accidentally bought 4 orange rabbit snails instead of malaysian trumpet snails. I only realised when they arrived, and I also read that they prefer warmer water with higher pH. The tank that I was going to keep them in is a cold water low pH tank for crystal shrimp. I keep the water at 22 degrees celcius, would this type of environment be very bad for these snails? I'm not sure what to do with them. [link] [comments] |
