Planted Aquarium - Not Your Standard Planted Tank |
- Not Your Standard Planted Tank
- Does this count?
- 90G Just finished planting some plants from my local aquascape auction. Cant wait to see growth!
- First scape of mine that I actually like! Can't wait for co2 kit to come tomorrow.
- My Low Tech Shrimp tank setup.
- Notices the reflection from this angle and I thought you might enjoy it
- My shrimp tank is filling in nicely.
- Nano ~2g no-tech sun lit desktop tank
- I think I’ll can him George
- My week old completed buce garden. Six types going right to left: Red cloud, Black Pearl, Biblis sky blue, arrogant blue, catherinae and kedagang red (aka godzilla). Now the waiting game begins.
- Finally decided to try out some Dwarf Hair Grass! As I grow more confident with my tank I always wanted to get more advanced plants. Hopefully it works out! Also put some Scarlet Temple in the back as well.
- Posted on here 2 weeks ago asking for suggestions to clear my tank up and users suggested Purigen, as you can see the results were awesome
- How to improve scape while keeping the simplistic look?
- I wanted to replant this Anubias, didn’t realize how much it was enjoying that cramped little tank. Should I trim the roots before replanting?
- My first hardscape, shoot!
- My first ‘real’ planted tank!
- Are there any chola wood alternatives that last much longer?
- My farm tank
- Sand or Soil?
- My little JBJ 24 gal nano cube, two weeks in. I swapped the fluorescent fixture out for a cheap Nicrew plant LED
- Fluval spec v Blackwater. Crypts are pointing up since the timer was messed up
- Stocking up a wild tank
- Does anyone know what kind of algae this is on my monte carlo? Easy Carbon does nothing to it!
- Redid my 55. Now the hard part. waiting for the plants to grow in

Are there any chola wood alternatives that last much longer? Posted: 13 Aug 2019 07:27 PM PDT Chola wood in my shrimp tank lasts for about 1 year max before losing its shape from being grazed on. I am looking to make a new long term scape with driftwood that looks similar to chola. any recommendations? Shit il even take fake chola wood if anyone actually makes that. [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 Aug 2019 12:32 AM PDT I am planning to redoing my aquarium because it sadly not ended up the way I wanted to (First aquarium) The biggest mistake i made was to use both soil (ada amazonia) and Sand (pool filter) that got completely mixed now and looks terrible. Now I want to use 1 substrate with wood and some seiryu stones and quite a few plants. Normally I would just go for the ada soil again (Really like how it looks and makes the plants grow like hell) but I have quite a few corydoras (They are sort of the main fish in my aquarium). Would you do soil with them? or go with sand? and if so. How can i make it that it doesn't suffocate.? I have a 80cm lake tanganyika aquarium with sand in it that is causing quite a bit of issues with algae, gray spots and Cyanobacteria. So my main question: Would you use Soil with corydoras? if not, how would you do sand with them AND want high tech plants. [link] [comments]
