I've tried so much, so hard. I tried to start a colony of the cute shrimp I've seen everywhere. I've tested everything and all is good. But my shrimp, my poor shrimp.... They all died and this week the remaining 3 that've lasted months more than the rest have finally passed. I don't know what I did wrong or how they all died.... But I think, I guess I'm done with shrimp since I don't want to murder anymore innocent shrimp.

So I'm wanting to start keeping shrimp. I've got one little guy that ended up in my 5g betta tank on accident and he's doing great but I've got a planted 65 I would like to have a colony in. What are the basics and what all equipment do I need? All suggestions welcome!

What’s happening to my mama? Half her eggs are dark brown and the other half are light.. are they growing or are they sick? I don’t think it’s fungus. It start as 1 egg but now I think three have changed color.. help!!

Yesterday morning I saw about 10 walking around when I turned the tank light on. This was the first time I ever saw them. This morning I was hoping I'd see them again but saw none. Is this normal behavior?

Caridina and neocaridina thriving in the same tank?

I recently started a 10 gallon of about 6 adult red neocaridina. Now I have an additional 20 baby/juveniles. I'm thinking about adding a few blue caridina shrimp to add some visual variety. Can I expect them to both thrive under the same conditions?
