My new tank!

My juvenile black moor is starting to turn more like a panda moor. Is this a worry? Ever seen this?

Did we put too many decorations in the tank? The log thing is hollow and he can swim in it (which he doesn’t). Any other opinions/advice is welcomed!

Black moor injured by gravel siphon. How do I help her heal!?

:o ! His story, last of his generation from a science lab three years ago, went through a lil rough patch when his catfish friend died, and seeing this sub, maybe I'll get him another catfish friend. I just wish I had enough room for a bigger tank, because I'm pretty sure the bathtub is a no-go

I turned on the pump and the goldfish FREAKED OUT. Looks like they are not ok with surface water agitation... Should I make it stop or hope they get used to it?

Need some help with goldfish names

Posted: 29 Jul 2019 12:55 PM PDT

I've had many goldfish over the years and I have become stumped with what to call my 2 new little ones. I already have one in the tank called dick. 1 is pure gold, the other is a shabunkin so multicolored. Any suggestions would be great.

Are these pieces of my new plant coming off because the fish are eating it? Should I take it out?

Choosing a new filter

Posted: 29 Jul 2019 01:19 AM PDT

I've noticed a lot of algae growth in our goldfish aquarium and have heard it can be due to inadequate filtration, so I was wondering what kind of new filter I should consider buying. I heard that you should buy one that is 100x your tank volume, but the only one I can find is a 1200 litre per hour, but I highly doubt it would be able to fit in the tank (ours is a 90 litre and the tank lid isn't exactly generous space-wise). I did find one that does 800 litres per hour but will that be enough?
