- Help I picked up this 150 gallon tank and while moving it got cracked, in my years of doing this I've never broken a tank. What would you guys recommend doing to it, should I put in a filler piece to stop the leakage, replace the panel of glass, or should I just pitch the tank cause it's not of use?
- My 15gl long nano
- My cleaner shrimp had babies!
- Saltwater Mixing Station
- Was curious to see what my nano reef was up to when I wasn't home... So I picked up a cheap camera to spy on these clowns!
- Grabbed a nice elegance yesterday. First one in 6 years in the hobby
- It was sold to me a Rose BTA. A friend thinks I have a Rainbow BTA. I can understand his argument. Can Reddit help me settle this?
- Alright so this was my first reef tank and it’s been taken over by the softies. Outlet questions in the comments.

Posted: 10 Jun 2019 11:32 AM PDT Little bit clickbait title but anywho...how does one safely "thin out" or "trim back" their overgrown zoa/palythoa colonies? I would imagine just do what you would for any other coral but is there a safe way to do this? In water? Out of water? What to do with the cut off pieces? Just curious. [link] [comments]
Looking for ideas to maximize storage space Posted: 10 Jun 2019 11:25 AM PDT Hi all! After a 5 year hiatus, I am rebuilding my reef aquarium. I previously had a basement with lots of storage for my Brute cans, 5gal buckets, aquarium supplies, etc., however I am now in a one level ranch home with minimal available storage. To top it off, I have a very active one year old who might get into everything. I'm looking for some ideas on how you have mounted your RODI units under the sink, how you store freshwater/saltwater/top off buckets/etc. [link] [comments]

Posted: 10 Jun 2019 09:43 AM PDT I know I should probably put this in the weekly ask but no ones answers those :/ I'm on day 10 of my new EVO 13.5 and have some questions about my cycle/setup. I used 13lbs of some really nice purple live rock from a reputable LFS here in Michigan and a 20 lb bag of Carib sea Fiji pink live sand. First question, do I have too much sand? Planning on having a couple clowns and mostly soft coral. Second, Test kit came late so I've been testing for the last 5-6 days and the ammonia was around .25ppm the last few days with 0 nitrate and nitrite. Today I'm at 0 ammonia .25ppm nitrite and around 5-10 ppm nitrate. Would now be a good time to throw a hermit crab or two in? Water change? Leave it? [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Jun 2019 08:44 AM PDT The first chamber where I have an intank basket is about 3/4 full, but the second chamber where I keep my heater and the third chamber where the pump is is only about half way, maybe even less. Are all chambers suppose to be the same water level? [link] [comments] |
