Can goldfish eat raw lettuce?

My dad read that you can feed goldfish lettuce and he just threw some in the tank, my question is are the fish able to eat this?

Could this be a case of dropsy or constipation? Been bottom sitting and acting bloated for a whole day now. Tank water is fine

How long does it take to see results from fluke medication?

Posted: 13 Jun 2019 08:09 PM PDT

I don't know what's wrong with my goldfish at first I thought it might be bacterial so I put pimafix in do for someone suggested to me that it might be external worms so I put paraguard in for. Later I was told that it could possibly be flukes (and symptoms seemed to match better) so I put in medication for that. Note that I didn't put in medication week after week, I gave it a few weeks because I didn't want to mix medication that's still left in the water together

My fish started to get really skinny and after putting in the fluke medication (been 3-4 weeks), they haven't gotten back to normal yet even though they're eating. The medication did say to redose after 5 days but I was overseas at the time and couldn't do that, then when I came back I didn't put in more (because label says don't overdose). Any advice?

Just had to euthanize one of my Ranchu’s because of dropsy. Now the other one is bottom dwelling and swimming EXTREMELY erratically. No signs of pineconing, but does have a white spot on his wen. Ammonia is 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 40ish. I’m so stressed out. I’m wondering if it’s a parasite?
