Dry start is working out very well so far
Just bought this water plant a month ago for our pond and apparently it flowers!
Saw the picture of the other guys blue ram, just thought I'd share mine too.
Hello fellow discus keepers, need your help to identify these discus. I know they are known by many names, just wanted to know the common names for these beautiful fishes. Thanks in advance.
Over a year ago I mixed together green and red shrimp. This is the latest color result after several generations
My girlfriend won this little guy at a faire a couple of years ago. He was living in a 3 gallon tank that we bought for him but having recently been educated (I had no idea!) we finally got him the 20g tank he deserves

Went to my parents over the weekend and they have beautiful koi fish in there pound. This is the moment I realize where I got my love for fish from. Butterfly koi are amazing
Today is like Christmas for me and the tank I care for!

I just noticed this white patch on my new Rummynose. Is this a disease I need to be worried about?
Picked up this giant mystery snail from my lfs yesterday. I'm starting to fall in love with snails.

So my brother decided it would be funny to dump all my fish food into my aquarium while I was at school, after vigorous hours of gravel vacuuming, netting food out of the water, and gravel vacuuming some more, it has still caused a huge ammonia outbreak, 3 dead shrimp so far, 1 missing presumed dead. I've moved all other inhabitants (2 shrimp, 2 Thai Micro crabs, 1 snail, 1 betta) to a 1.5 gallon nursery tank, but I know they can't stay there for long, I need the quickest way to kill an ammonia outbreak, I've been constantly removing water and it seemingly has no effect on it.
