Sorry for long text!

I sometimes sell shrimp and snails and ship them in my country. I had someone buy shrimp, ask me to put in free stuff, and I sent it off with some extras with overnight shipping, which arrived on time. It's not too cold or warm for them. The way this person communicated with me seemed strange from the get go, I felt like they were going to get difficult with me.

They said that the shrimp were fine, but the snails were dead. With a photo of snails in a bowl. The snails were a bullet proof common species, so I advised they wait for them to come out of their shells and smell them if they didn't budge. Then they suddenly said that one arrived dead and sent me a photo of a shrimp in the bowl- this shrimp wasn't in the bowl in the previous photo and does not appear to be belly up but a photo of an upright shrimp that was rotated to look upsidedown. It seems like they're fishing to get a refund even though it seems like things arrived safely?

So I've asked them to cut the dead shrimp in half and photo as proof, because I feel like they're trying to get all my snails and shrimp for free... it took me a year of culling again and again to make those, and it seems extremely unlikely that the shrimp died in the most perfect postage conditions I've ever sent them in. Most of the time my shrimp arrive in 2-3 days, and not one DOA.

I'm still waiting for a response since asking for the photo. They suddenly went quiet after I asked, so maybe it wasn't legitimate and they've realised I'm on to them? What's more is that the shrimp aren't even bagged anymore, this person could have dumped them into poor conditions... I have a written out DOA policy to look at the unopened bag first, send a photo of that first... if I do end up receiving a photo of a proper dead shrimp, then I'll go through the proper procedure of refund- but so far things seem fishy!

I'm just very frustrated. Has anyone dealt with anything like this?

Hi All,

Hoping to get some guidance here for one of my shrimp. I noticed it appears to have what looks like moss growing our of it's shell right where the legs end and the tail begins. It's definitely not eggs.

It's kind of hard to get a picture of but you can just make it out on the red shrimp in the middle. Pic 1 Pic 2

Any thoughts?
