I just bought my first set of shrimp about a month or two ago and now my tank is full of babies. This one is my favorite! She’s so bright!

Getting a back rub

25+ shrimp died overnight. Everything about the tank seemed fine - I can only assume that some of the "organic" veggies I feed them had been contaminated or mislabelled.

Haven’t seen this guy in a week since I moved it and I’m so happy to know it’s still alive and well!

When Caridina shrimp breed, will they lose their color? Will any shrimp revert to a “wild” color?

Posted: 15 May 2019 09:24 PM PDT

I'd rather just let my shrimps breed for giggles. I'm not looking for any specific colors or kinds. Just don't want brown or any boring color.

It’s a mess, but I like it. Home to my Blue Velvets and their offspring plus a few fish.

Berried mama isn't fanning the eggs, should I be worried?

Posted: 15 May 2019 03:35 PM PDT

I've been watching on and off for the past couple hours and I have never seen the mama fan the eggs. Is there something wrong? Or am I just worrying too much?

Rock recommendation

Posted: 15 May 2019 05:54 PM PDT

I want to add a rock pile to the cherry shrimp tank I'm starting and would like recommendations on rocks to use. I'm concerned about the rocks changing the ph of the water but I'm also wondering if i can just go to home depot and buy a bag.
