Mystery Snail Clutch

I have had my mystery snail clutch for a couple of weeks now and I'm just not seeing a ton of changes. I have attached a pic. Any thoughts? Does it look like it will still hatch?

I have 1 betta, and want a snail, and want to know if one is easier to care for, or just what your opinions on them are.

Patching old hole in shell: how do I clean the wound before sealing?

Just got 3 nerites from a friend, two have large holes in their shells. They've survived at least a couple of weeks with the holes. I'd like to patch, but I don't want to trap bacteria inside.

Safest option would be flushing well with dechlor tap water, but that wouldn't necessarily remove bacteria. I'd like to use dilute isopropyl alcohol or dilute hydrogen peroxide. Is either safe for a small shell crack?

I know about wound care, but not submersed care of a non-healing skeleton. We literally use bleach in some human wounds, so it seems like something as minor as hydrogen peroxide shouldn't hurt.
