Can I fit these two in a 20 gallon?

I was planning on putting an oranda and a ranchu in a 29gallon, but recently came into Possession of a 20 gallon. Can I put these two in the 20 gallon? What about two ranchus or two oranda?

How Overstocked Is My Tank?

Posted: 02 May 2019 02:34 PM PDT

I have 3 orandas (all pretty small, probably all 3 inches) in a 40 gallon. I eventually want to upgrade them to a 50 or 55,but I'm worried about the weight it would be on our floor(we aren't on ground level, and have hardwood floors) they also have a 55 gallon filter in case you wanted to know.

Oranda Tankmates in heavily planted 75 gallon

Posted: 02 May 2019 12:33 PM PDT

Hey guys,

I recently upgraded my aquarium to satisfy the needs of my Oranda goldfish. I have a 75 gallon aquarium stocked with a lot of live plants, bubbler, 300W heater, and a Fluval Aquaclear 110 filter. The Oranda has a black moor as a tankmate but I was looking to add a little more diversity to the tank. Ive read that weather loaches are a good match but wasn't sure If I was overlooking any other possibilities other than rosy barbs, large platies, larger cloud minnows etc.. Everywhere I've researched has said different things but I figured It would be better to post my question here amongst the professionals and see what other options there may be. Ive been tempted to get a blue Oranda because I love the look of them but I'm hesitant to add another omnivore to the tank because the one likes to munch on the plants already and I like the black moor just fine. I have multiple very large Nerite snails in the tank as well. Preferably I would like to get a fish/fishes that will help clean the tank. I have heard that Plecos are not a good match. I have seen mixed emotions about the albino bristlenose plecos though. I have also seen mixed emotions on the Cory's so I am here to put the issue to bed. I used Fluval Stratum as my substrate when I set up this tank and realized after that it said "not to use for goldfish because they like to disturb the substrate" but it has worked out just fine and hasn't been a problem. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
