So I give my guys omega one goldfish pellets, peas, kale, bloodworms, and red seaweed. My question: is the seaweed something that would help with bloat issues? I know the peas are like a laxative for them but is seaweed good to keep bloat away? I have it as a random snack sometimes and was curious.

Upgrading My Kiddos - Need Advice

I have three fantail goldfish: A 4"(Theodosia), 3"(Aaron Burr), and 1.5"(General Washington) I'm holding onto for a friend. Currently they're in a 10 gal (Which I'm aware is far too small, that is why I'm upgrading them as I originally didn't have the money or space but now do.)

I'm not going to be moving up the 1.5" fish quite yet, as that fish is my friend's who I'm merely holding onto, so I'll have the 4" and 3" in the 55 gal tank. (I don't want to move the 1.5" up for several reasons mainly with him not having a tail fin and not wanting too strong of a current, plus I think it'll be better for him to be seperated from the others for this reason.. at least until I move him to my friends) I plan on trying out with it being fully planted with very specific choice in plants, but that isn't what I'm here for.

The main thing I'm worried about is cycling. If I take from my current tank, how long do you guys think it would be able for me to do water changes and help my tank to establish in there?

I'll post with updates as this goes. Tomorrow I'm scheduled to get the tank, stand, and all the decor and set it up.

Now enjoy pictures of my children. No picks of AB cause hes shy, but hes a fantail calico.
