I managed to get a much better gif of a baby shrimp in my tank. My best guess is a few days old, does that sound right?

Water pump question

Posted: 27 Apr 2019 05:49 PM PDT

I need a water pump to get better water circulation in my tank but I am curious if you guys have recommendations of one that won't kill the shrimp? I have sponges on my filter inlets but for all the pump/jets I don't know how to make them smol shrimp safe?

Is there anyway to improve shrimp color aside from culling considering water parameters are met?

Posted: 27 Apr 2019 10:55 PM PDT

I have a 120 gallon tank so it way too time consuming to take time culling. Is there anything I can do to make the shrimps have brighter coloration such as a specific shrimp food? My red cherry shrimps are currently eating biofilm with the occasional algae wafer. I already have some red leds along with regular lighting.

Shrimp shelter recommendation?

Posted: 27 Apr 2019 12:42 PM PDT

Hi everyone, I have a planted tank that has a lot of light and I want to provide some dark areas for my shrimp to retreat to. Does anyone have any recommendations on good shelters beyond thick vegetation?

Owning and Maintaining Shrimp

Posted: 27 Apr 2019 02:39 PM PDT

I am a relatively new tank owner. I currently have a 5.5 gallon with one betta, one mystery snail, and one nerite snail. Over the summer I will also have a 10 gallon and possibly a 2.5. I am really in love with shrimp, snails, and bottomfeeders like catfish and corys. I'm really interested in getting some shrimp but I have no clue where to start. I'm looking for tips and advice! Even the most basic thing helps.
