Can someone tell me what's happening to my anemone? It's puffing up like a balloon and stuffing it's tentacles inside of itself

LFS water test cost

Posted: 23 Apr 2019 06:21 PM PDT

I am new to the hobby and had an ammonia spike last week. I went to have the lfs test my water while I was there buying RODI water. The test came back at 0 and so I added a black ocelaris to my purchase. When I got home from the shop I looked at my receipt and saw I was charged 4.99 for a water test. Is this normal practice? I didn't expect free water changes for life, but I certainly didn't think an ammonia test would cost me $4.99. I should also note that they tested magnesium as they had tested it before previously (without me requesting) and it came back high so they were taking another look.

Clean up crew questions.

I have a 50 gallon and only 6 snails, a cleaner shrimp, 2 hermits and 2 emerald crabs how many more of each should I get? I'm also getting a lot of bubble algae and diatoms so a goby will also be an inhabitant in the near future.
