- ID on whatever the hell this thing is? Saw this in the middle of the night crawling very slowly. It was moving the pointy part on the left like an antenna.
- Can anyone help me id this hitchhiker? It is some sort of snail. It's shell has a purplish color.

- Tank placement
- I can never tell - Hammer or Torch?
- First post here! Tank was cycled 3 weeks ago, is a water change and mixing the sand needed or is algae on the sand okay? Only snails and 2 coral frags.

New Tunze 3155 ATO wont stop pumping [Help] Posted: 04 Apr 2019 07:59 PM PDT Today I received my Tunze ATO and was exceited to set it up so now I dont have to fill by hand and keep a steady water level for my skimmer. It seemed to be working fine and turned on for about 10 or so seconds and shut itself off. The optical eye/float is installed in the return pump chamber of my Nuvo 40. About 10min after it kicked on the first time I heard it start pumping again but this time didn't stop. The "Pump On" light was lit yellow but the "Low Level" or "High Level" were not on. The water level completely submerged the optical eye and didn't stop till the emergency float was activated and the alarm kicked on. Is this a fault sensor? I tried unplugging and plugging back in but it just powers on and keeps pumping if the water is not pushing the float up even though the eye is submerged. [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Apr 2019 04:56 PM PDT I just purchased my first house, my 3 tanks are currently in the basement, however my new house doesn't have a basement. I don't want to put them upstairs as I don't think I'll be up there very often. My question is will they be okay in front of a bay window (basically the entire wall is a window). There is an A/C vent only a couple feet away, my concern is that my tank will be too hot in the summer. It reaches 100 degrees Fahrenheit almost daily June-August. They are black at the back to hopefully limit algae growth I'm juts worried about Temperature. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thank you. [link] [comments]
