- My little nature corner! Featuring Lego bastion.
- First tank, just planted. How does it look?
- Modified sponge filter sponge for filtration, heating pad under the tank controlled with a temperature probe. All hardware hidden.
- Mount Carlo
- My 55g growing in!
- Views on adding Copepods to planted tank on purpose? I rarely hear about people doing this in the freshwater community (I see that more in the marine com.). Mostly they're deemed to be pests. But seems like they'd make a nice small fish snack and help keep substrate cleaner from poop?
- First planted tank, one month in
- she’s full
- I pulled on a single node of ranunculous and a big patch of downoi came up with it ♂️
- It’s quite dirty but there are lots of little shrimp swimming about in there!
- Rescaped my planted pea puffers’ palace
- My old 40b

- Advice for planted tank
- West African biotope. 75g WIP.
- Here’s Scott’s tank! The filter got some sand in it so it’s not in the photo, but as soon as I fix it, it’ll be back running :)
- Will this work for Walstead method. It’s from bumming in Australia
- Planted+ 24/7 CC settings
- Where two worlds meet...
- My little 3gal guppy cube at my work desk.
- Mountain Dew is all cleared up.....
- Any idea what ferts my plants might be lacking? (More pictures in comments)

Posted: 15 Apr 2019 08:55 PM PDT So i have a fully cycled planted 10 gallon tank with a betta fish and 1 nerite snail. The one problem i have is that i don't think my plants are doing as well as they can be because my substrate is gravel. I want to replace the gravel with something like fluorite black. But i read that most aqua substrates cause an ammonia spike and ill have to recycle. Is this true? What can i do to replace my gravel substrate for something more suitable for aquarium plants? Posted: 15 Apr 2019 07:13 PM PDT Hey all. I'd like to start a brainstorm session on this light. Has anyone managed to get a good setting for their 24/7 CC? I have had difficulty getting a good setting that doesn't foster algae. The 3 hour blocks that it needs to be set with tends to make it a little picky. It would be a shame to have to keep it on a timer. Thoughts? [link] [comments] | ||
