Posted: 19 Apr 2019 11:52 PM PDT Hi! I love fantails so much. I recently saw an adorable calico fantail but it was at walmart. And i kinda have a fear it wont be in good health. I know wally world is kinda shit and i shouldnt support them selling fish but it was such a sweet little thing. Im really considering getting it out of there. Is it worth it? What are warning signs and things to look out for? [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 19 Apr 2019 06:01 PM PDT Hello everyone. I need help choosing the appropriate type of feed for my little common goldfish. Backstory (if none of you saw my last post): Won him at a fair and put him in my 75 gallon (with my established community of zebra danios, platies, mystery snails and shrimp). He was small, perhaps 1", and now he's close to 4". I will have his pond ready by summer along with a buddy to keep him company. So back to my main issue. Since I put him in my tank, he began to eat flakes that my other fish would eat. I tried giving him pellets, but he liked the flakes better. In order to try and at least get him a better diet, I bought him goldfish flakes and would stick my hand in in order for him to eat them out of my hand. I read on here that flakes aren't necessarily good for their diet (he does get other feedstuff in order to get additional nutrients though), so I want to change that and get him sinking pellets. Problem is, I don't really know what brands are considered better nutrition wise and I really don't want him eating something that won't give him the nutrients he needs. Any suggestions on brands?
