CPO Dwarf Crayfish in Planted Tank? Posted: 06 Apr 2019 06:41 PM PDT Hello! I'm thinking about getting a CPO crayfish and red cherry shrimp in the planted tank I'm setting up. My set up is a planted 7 gal with 1-3 inch black sand for substrate and osmocote+ root tabs. I'm worried that a dwarf cray will burrow into the sand and dig up the root tabs which would, well, kill them. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would adding in some of those pipe-like shrimp hides help keep them from burrowing? I'm also using an Aquaclear HOB filter with a sponge on the intake and a cup baffling the water flow just at the surface. Is that all right for aeration or would a CPO need more? [link] [comments] |
